The jury sees a perfect further development in the Vortex riding boot by Ariat. A high technical level, the good workmanship and the sole technology implemented convinced the jury.

1st Prize: Horseware Products Ltd / AA Isola Waistcoat with Du Pont Sorona padding

The Isola Gilet vest by Horseware is comfortably light, soft and its fibre is made of renewable raw materials. The fibre is produced at low temperatures to save electricity. The jury assumes that long-term this fibre will also be implemented for other products in the equestrian sport sector.

2nd Prize: Malefiz Boots & Shoes GmbH / Hobo / Hobo Ecologic Line

Hobo offers various shoe models in the Ecologic Line that are made of vegetable tanned cowhide, which originates from a certified, German tannery. Furthermore, Hobo has been producing in family businesses in Portugal for 30 years and can thus guarantee short transport routes.

1st Prize: HKM Sports Equipment GmbH / Collection for the cinema film Wendy / Product collection

The high recognition level of the Wendy collection primarily addresses the young target group. The jury assumes that the popularity of the cinema film will have a positive effect on the sales.

2nd Prize: Wahl GmbH / Lister Shearing / Placement concept for WAHL horse shearing machines

The placement concept of Wahl enables the customer to try out the shearing machine directly in the shop. The customer can test the ergonomics, hear the noise generation of the machine and compare battery-run machines with cable-connected models. However, the jury recommends a more contemporary and more attractive design for the shelf system.

Cabasus / App & Movement Tracker

The jury of the Spoga Horse Award views the tracking system by Cabasus as a wonderful way for horse owners and riders to keep a digital diary. Furthermore various health and training parameters can be recorded and exchanged using the system. A modern approach that the jury would like to pay tribute to by awarding it with the Special Jury Prize.
