Cautiously looking ahead

Covid-19 is keeping the world in suspense, causing huge restrictions to social life, paralysing production and the trade, bringing supply chains to a standstill and is currently preventing the staging of trade fairs and events. The crisis is affecting many industries, and already it is forseeable that the post-Corona era will be a different one. Trade fairs will take on a special role in future namely that of reviving industries and companies. The good registration status of spoga horse autumn 2020 demonstrates that the equestrian sport industry is already prepared for the time after the crisis when they can resume business again: Albert Kerbl, Amahorse, Animo, Bucas, Cavalleria Toscana, De Niro Boots, EKKIA, HKM, Horseware, Kingsland, KEP, Laguso, Montar, Passier, Prestige, PIKEUR, Samshield, Schockemöhle Sports, Shires Equestrian, Spooks, Vestrum, Vale Brothers and Waldhausen all want to take part, when the doors of the largest trade fair for equestrian sports open in Cologne.

In difficult times, good partnerships are decisive: This is why the spoga horse team is continuing to work intensively in supporting the industry during and after the Corona crisis: The networking of the players, the reactivation of business relations and the establishment of new business will be even more important in the post-Corona era than ever before. There will be changes to the production, logistics, sales and communications and trade fairs will show the industries the solutions and trends for a successful future.

The imminent resumption of the trade fairs will contribute towards the promotion of sales more than ever before. The exhibitors and trade audience can therefore particularly look forward to the events of spoga horse autumn 2020: The spoga horse Award has been distinguishing the best innovations of the industry for 20 years already. The independent jury of the trade magazine, equitrends, the media partner of spoga horse, inspects all of the entries in advance and nominates the award aspirants, which will in turn be presented at the trade fair. However, the manufacturers will not just present their innovative products and concepts to the jury, but also to the trade fair audience in the form of live pitches. Interested visitors can subsequently take part in a guided tour of the trade fair that will lead them to the manufacturers of the nominated innovations, where they can learn more about the companies and the creative minds behind them. The expert jury and trade audience will select their favourites in the categories Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sales Concepts, and will on the last day of the trade fair present the prize-winners with the recognised quality seal of the industry: the spoga horse Award.

And as for our canine companions: Interested manufacturers and visitors can appraise the new and trusted product trends for their small four-legged friends in the scope of the Dogs special event. Whether as an additional offer in the shop or as an established product segment, the trade fair presents ideas and trends for your business. The exhibitions will, as in the previous years, be staged with great visibility in front of the entrance to Hall 11, in Passage 10-11 of the Cologne fair grounds.

Early planning certainty for all parties involved
While keeping an eye on the current situation, Koelnmesse is preparing for a successful spoga horse autumn. Should the event be postponed or cancelled due to the Corona virus, Koelnmesse will refund visitor tickets already purchased. Payments already made to Koelnmesse will be reimbursed to exhibitors, who do not wish to take part on a possible revised date. Despite all confidence, Koelnmesse will inform all of its customers and partners about possible tendencies in good time.
