The event
Moderated by Karolin Leszinski, experts from the fields of practice, education, sport and industry will discuss the future of promoting young talent in equestrian sports. The focus will be on the question of how we can – against the backdrop of the upcoming all-day care for primary school children – bring horses back more strongly into the lives of children. Best practice examples will be presented in the form of projects that show how early encounters with horses in schools and kindergartens can be successful, what role riding schools play in this, and what effects they have on motivation, bonding, values transmission and athletic development. The discussions will draw on experiences in which these models have already been successfully implemented.
Participants include:
Gidon Wolf, Der Schäferhof, riding school in Nuthetal near Berlin
Doris Bregen-Meiners, Hippocampus Fürstenau
Andreas Beckers, uvex / BSI
Sporting perspective: Anna Siemer
Moderator: Karolin Leszinski
The talk will show why early, authentic experiences with horses are crucial for the future of the entire industry – and what opportunities are created by new educational structures.
