On introducing the DOG VILLAGE, spoga horse is tapping into a rapidly expanding segment that has high relevance for the equestrian sport trade. Over half of all horse owners also have a dog, the share within the equestrian sport community is likely to be even higher. Many suppliers have therefore already expanded their product range accordingly. The new participation format offers brands from the dog supplies, dog food, care, health and accessories sections a clearly visible, thematically focused presentation area at spoga horse for the first time."The connection between horses and dogs has long since become reality in the everyday lives of the horse community. In addition to the DOG VILLAGE, a second participation format is making its debut: the brand-new STABLE VILLAGE. The STABLE VILLAGE addresses suppliers from the stable and paddock technology and transport vehicle sections.
The German Association of Sporting Goods Industry (BSI) also welcomes the enhancements: "We support the decision to expand the offer of spoga horse to include the sections Capital Goods and Dogs. The two villages offer two new, attractive participation formats to position spoga horse as the leading global trade fair of the equestrian sport," stated Stefan Rosenkranz, Chief Operating Officer of the BSI.

Die spoga horse 2026 steht ganz im Zeichen der Weiterentwicklung. Zur kommenden Veranstaltung öffnet die internationale Leitmesse der Pferdebranche erstmals das DOG VILLAGE, ein neues Beteiligungsformat speziell für Anbieter von Produkten rund um den Hund. Darüber hinaus wird das Angebot durch das STABLE VILLAGE erweitert, das Anbieter von Investitionsgütern adressiert.
Mit dem DOG VILLAGE erschließt die spoga horse ein stark wachsendes Segment mit hoher Relevanz für den Reitsporthandel. Mehr als die Hälfte aller Pferdehalterinnen und Pferdehalter besitzt auch einen Hund, innerhalb der Reitsport-Community dürfte der Anteil sogar noch höher liegen. Viele Anbieter haben daher ihr Sortiment bereits entsprechend erweitert. Das neue Beteiligungsformat bietet Marken aus den Bereichen Hundebedarf, Futter, Pflege, Gesundheit und Zubehör erstmals eine klar sichtbare, thematisch fokussierte Präsentationsfläche auf der spoga horse.„Die Verbindung zwischen Pferd und Hund ist im Alltag der Pferdecommunity längst Realität. Auch im Reitsporthandel wird der Hund zunehmend präsenter und das Produktangebot breiter. Auch der Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel-Industrie e.V. (BSI) begrüßt die Erweiterungen: „Wir unterstützen die Entscheidung, das Angebot der spoga horse um die Bereiche Investitionsgüter und Hund zu erweitern. Die beiden Villages bieten gleich zwei neue zusätzliche, attraktive Beteiligungsformate, um die spoga horse als Welt-Leitmesse des Pferdesports zu positionieren“, so Stefan Rosenkranz, Geschäftsführer des BSI.
